Service Description

Spend 5 days volunteering on a working farm learning how to care for animals and gaining an understanding of how the farm operates. Enjoy camping on the farm — with confidence-building team building / leadership games and a camp fire each night. Guy Needham has been the resident farmer on Whittington Farm for 30 years. He is passionate about farming, the environment and about his animals and he has extensive knowledge and experience that he is keen to share with you. Guy sees himself as the custodian of the land. He is committed to sustainability, determined to leave the land in a better condition than he initially found it. Guy’s daughter Isobel works the farm with him and the whole family share their passion for conservation.
